Inter Meet With Intermediaries To Discuss Gabigol To Flamengo On Permanent Basis

Inter have met with intermediaries to hold talks over Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s potential permanent move from Inter to Flamengo according to a report from FCInter1908.it.

The Brazilian striker has been on loan with the Brazilian powerhouses since January this year and has been in fine form.

Yesterday’s meeting was to lay the groundwork for a deal that is likely to take place once his loan deal with the Mengao expires at the end of December.

There has been talk of an €18 million fee, all of which would be immediately reinvested into improving the Inter team.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio as per other reports have both identified some players who could do exactly that for the upcoming January transfer window.

A new midfielder is thought to be high on their transfer wishlist as is a player who can act as back-up to club record signing Romelu Lukaku.
