Antonio Conte lost back-to-back games in the past week for the first time since 2013, a report from Corriere dello Sport highlights.

Inter firstly lost 2-1 away to Barcelona in the Champions League last Wednesday before losing by the same scoreline against arch-rivals Juventus in this past weekend’s first Derby D’Italia of the season between the clubs.

The last time this occurred was in October 2013 when Conte was in charge of Juventus. The first loss came at the hands of a Giuseppe Rossi inspired Fiorentina, who secured a 4-2 win over the Bianconeri with thanks to a hat-trick from Rossi.

The second defeat came against Real Madrid in the Champions League group stages. The Bianconeri found themselves 2-1 down at half-time at the Santiago Bernabeu but were unable to overturn the scoreline.

The Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Conte, who is known for his winning mentality, will undoubtedly wish to put an end to this losing streak immediately in Inter’s next match against Sassuolo.
