Zinho Vanheusden has expressed his happiness at being able to join Standard Liege on a permanent basis from Inter during the recent Summer transfer window.

“I told my agent that my first choice was to stay at Standard Liege and that it was not necessary to activate options two and three. I am very happy to be able to continue the adventure here because I felt that I was not yet ready to go abroad and that I wanted to grow in Belgium,” he said in an interview with La Dernière Heure.

“I do not like to talk about the price of my transfer, I focus on my game. When I do, I concentrate on the player to be marked or on the ball but not on my transfer. My price is not something that I could have controlled. It has changed nothing in the dressing room. I am very happy here with my friends.”
