Inter and Juventus are set to do battle over Federico Chiesa and Sandro Tonali in the upcoming transfer windows according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri and Bianconeri are long term admirers of Chiesa but many need to overpay for him given Fiorentina would prefer to sell their prized possession abroad rather than in Italy. They are understood to want no less than €70 million for him whilst the Italian winger himself wants an annual salary in the region of €5 million.

As for Tonali, the clubs have also been following him for a long time. The 19-year-old central is widely being tipped for a bright future at the top of the game and a move to a bigger club than Brescia, with all due respect to them, seems almost inevitable in the not too distant future. The clubs will continue to pay close attention to him and the report concludes that his salary expectations will only be around €250,000 annually.
