Inter will use funds raised through the sale of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to partly finance their January transfer market according to a report from Tuttosport.

Flamengo wish to sign the striker outright following a highly successful loan spell with them and are offering Inter a sum of €18 million.

Inter however, as per the report, are demanding close to double that to part ways with the Brazilian national team player, with them wanting €30 million for him.

Flamengo will therefore have to raise their offer and it remains to be seen whether the two clubs could end up meeting in the middle for the 23-year-old, who has managed to get his career back on track.

Other reports in the media have suggested that Inter are looking to strengthen their midfield in the January window whilst other reports have stated that they wish to add a player who can act as deputy to club record signing Romelu Lukaku.
