Inter are keeping tabs on Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic with a view to a possible move for him in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter are looking to strengthen their midfield department and have identified the Croatian, among others, as someone who would manage to do just that.

Rakitic has recently come out in the media and complained about his lack of play time lately and Inter could  well take advantage of this situation by moving for him in January.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to recall that Inter had already struck an agreement over his transfer back in the Summer before Barcelona pulled the plug on the move.

As per other reports in the media, Rakitic is valued at €30 million by Barcelona and Tuttosport go on to state that Inter intend to raise funds to attempt to sign Rakitic by selling Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
