Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has more than tripled his value since joining Inter in the eyes of Corriere dello Sport.

The Argentine striker joined the Nerazzurri back in the Summer of 2014 in a circa €20 million deal from Racing Club in Argentina and is now understood to be valued at €70 million.

Lautaro is fast approaching the value of his release clause in his current contract with the club of €111 million but that clause may not exist for much longer with the report from the Rome based news outlet stating that he will soon sign a new contract with the club.

Inter and the player’s representatives are already in talks over a contract extension and Inter wish to remove the release clause, partly to give them more power when/if other clubs come in for him but also partly because Lionel Messi seemingly wants his compatriot to join him at Barcelona so Inter wish to detract interest by signing him to a new deal.
