Sensi’s Surprise Start Has Caused Conte To Change Initial Plans He Had For Inter

Stefano Sensi’s surprising start to life in an Inter shirt following his Summer transfer has caused Antonio Conte to change his initial plans for the team, at least according to a report which appeared in today’s paper edition of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The diminutive midfielder has become a vital player for Conte’s Nerazzurri side, despite the fact many thought he was only being brought in as a rotational option when he was signed from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo on a season long loan, with an option to buy.

In 9 appearances across all competitions this season, the 24-year-old full Italian international has contributed three goals and tallied four assists.

“Once Conte realised he had found a real treasure in Sensi, he changed the original plans he had for matches wherein he saw the former Sassuolo midfielder as Brozovic’s back-up whilst one of Vecino and Gagliardini would have always played,” the report explains.
