Inter continued their high-intensity training at the club’s training ground in Appiano Gentile yesterday, according to today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report highlights how after yesterday’s training session, coach Antonio Conte communicated his plans for this weekend to the squad. There is a possibility that both tomorrow and on Monday the players will be rested, the report adds, due to the Nerazzurri’s upcoming match against Sassuolo taking place next Sunday.

However, on Tuesday the squad will resume preparations, with the entire squad returning from their respective international duties. The Nerazzurri will face 15th placed Sassuolo next weekend in the Serie A, in a game that Conte will be desperate to win.

After the disappointing 2-1 loss to Juventus in the Derby d’Italia last weekend, the former Juventus and Chelsea coach knows the importance of bouncing back after a defeat and keeping the pressure on the Bianconeri, who are currently one point ahead of Inter.
