Inter striker Romelu Lukaku became the all-time top scorer for the Belgian national team after scoring his 50th and 51st goals in a 9-0 win over San Marino in a EURO 2020 qualifiers on Thursday night.

In a post to Instagram, Bleacher Report have highlighted that the 26-year-old, who joined Inter in a club record transfer deal from Manchester United this past Summer, achieved his half century for his country far sooner than several other top stars did.

Lukaku achieved the feat aged 26 years and four months, just over two years quicker than Lionel Messi managed 50 goals for Argentina, three years quicker than Cristiano Ronaldo managed the feat for Portugal and six and a half years quicker than former Inter star Zlatan Ibrahimovic managed to score 50 for Sweden.

One player who did however achieve it before him was Brazilian superstar Neymar who managed it aged 24 years and one months.
