Joao Mario has taken to social media to celebrate his five year involvement with the Portuguese national team.

The Inter owned midfielder, who is currently out on loan at Russian Premier League outfit Lokomotiv Moscow, debuted five years ago to this day and has since went on to make a further 42 appearances for them, in which he has scored two goals.

The former Sporting player posted a video of some of his most memorable moments from his time with the national team including Portugal’s EURO 2016 triumph.

“Today 5 years ago I debuted for the full Portuguese national team! 5 years of great moments, victories and achievements, side by side with a fantastic group. All together soon for another very important game. Thanks,” he posted as a caption to the video which he posted to Twitter.
