Two Inter players are set to start for Roberto Mancini’s Italy tonight against Greece as he looks to guide the Gli Azzurri to securing their place in next summer’s European Championships, according to Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

A victory tonight for the Azzurri would guarantee entry into next summer’s tournament with three games to spare, a record for the Italian national team.

Better yet for Mancini, tonight’s game is at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, opening up the possibility for the 54-year-old Italian coach to secure qualification in front of around 60,000 spectators.

The former Inter and Manchester City coach is planning to deploy both Danilo D’Ambrosio and Nicolo Barella tonight from the start, noticing the duo’s strong performances with the Nerazzurri recently.

Inter left back Cristiano Biraghi will be on the bench, with Nerazzurri star Stefano Sensi out of the squad due to injury.

Probable starting lineup:

Italy (4-3-3): Donnarumma; D’Ambrosio, Bonucci, Acerbi, Spinazzola; Verratti, Jorginho, Barella; Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne.
