Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon spoke at the Trento Sport Festival today, discussing Inter coach Antonio Conte, with Italian media outlet FcInterNews in attendance.

“I love Antonio [Conte], a good soul, he was first my teammate, my captain, my coach at Juve and in the National team. I know the person and the professional. He has a degree of professionalism and fairness towards the group and an incredible ability to teach football. He really doesn’t sleep at night if his team can’t express what he wants. I understand the fans of Juventus who are not happy with us, but we must start from the assumption that someone like Antonio must be respected because for Juve he has given his all with the utmost conviction, obtaining results. The choices may be questionable, but what he has given and received from Juve is something very important. Together we gave everything and in return we had great rewards. Toughest coach? Definitely him. The nicest Ulivieri, but also Allegri. The fussiest? I think Sarri.”
