Paris Saint Germain management is happy with the start of former Inter striker Mauro Icardi’s season in Paris, according to Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The report details how both coach Thomas Tuchel and Sporting Director Leonardo are satisfied with his start to the season, scoring two goals in his first four appearances for the Ligue 1 side.

The 26-year-old Argentinian, who returned to Milan this week to see his family, scored the winning goal in PSG’s 1-0 victory over Turkish side Galatasaray in the Champions League earlier this month, helping them to reach six points in their Champions League group.

The report also highlights how the PSG squad immediately welcomed the striker with open arms, with a good atmosphere present in the dressing room. The player, however, still may return to Inter next summer if PSG are satisfied with his performances at the end of the season.

Due to his move to PSG being only a loan deal, if the Parisian side aren’t willing to pay €65 million for a permanent move then the 26-year-old will return to the Nerazzurri, with his contract expiring with Inter in 2022.
