Premier League club Crystal Palace are considering a move for Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from PassioneInter.com.

Former Inter manager Roy Hodgson’s side are sitting pretty in sixth place after eight games but are lacking an out-and-out striker who can deliver goals in abundance, something they feel Gabigol could bring to the team.

Gabigol is currently out on loan at Brazilian side Flamengo until the end of December and it is understood that Inter value him at €30 million as they intend to reinvest the money raised through his sale into meeting their own transfer market ambitions.

The 23-year-old striker is yet to decide what he wishes to do once his loan deal with Flamengo is up but his representatives will meet with Inter in the coming weeks to figure out the next steps.

Gabigol is not the only player that the Eagles are considering either. The report goes on to explain Sassuolo’s Francesco Caputo is also on their radar after his three goals in five appearances this season.
