Inter owned striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa expressed his joy at returning to the pitch the Brazilian national team on his Twitter today.
The 23-year-old striker, currently on loan with Flamengo in Brazil, has scored 23 goals in 28 games so far this season, prompting a call up to the national team. The player first made his debut for Brazil in 2016.
Gabigol posted a photo of himself being substituted on during Brazil’s 1-1 friendly draw against Nigeria with the caption: “Very happy to wear the jersey of the Seleçao.”
