Over the coming days, Inter players who have been away on international duty will gradually return to training in the lead up to this weekend’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo, according to a report in today’s paper edition of Rome news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic will both return to the Angelo Moratti Sports Centre tomorrow morning having completed their duties with Belgium and Croatia respectively.

Lautaro Martinez, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar and Valentino Lazaro will meanwhile also all return tomorrow although they will only take part in the later training sessions.

Cristiano Biraghi, Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni will all be back as from Wednesday whilst Uruguayan pair Diego Godin and Matias Vecino will be the last back to training although it is as yet unclear whether their return will be on Thursday or Friday.

The pair are expected to be involved in Uruguay’s match against Peru on Wednesday and then have a long journey back to Milan.
