There will be no reunion for Stefano Sensi this weekend with him set to miss Inter’s next match against former employers Sassuolo through injury according to a report in today’s paper edition of newspaper Tuttosport.
The central midfielder sustained an injury during Inter’s recent 2-1 loss to arch-rivals Juventus and tests afterwards showed an injury to the adductor muscles in his right thigh.
The report from the Turin based sports news outlet does go on to state however that Sensi should be back for Inter’s next game after that in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund next mid-week with Inter heading into the match searching for their first group stage win of the campaign.
Sensi has been highly influential in the early part of this season for Inter following his Summer transfer window arrival from Sassuolo.
The 24-year-old has contributed three goals and four assists in nine appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri this season.
