Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s EURO 2020 qualifier against Liechtenstein, Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that he will make some changes to the line-up that started in the win over Greece.

“I think I will change many players for the match,” he began.

“Is anyone certain of a place in the team? Salvatore Sirigu, Andrea Belotti, Nicolo Zaniolo, Armando Izzo, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Alessio Romagnoli, depending on his fitness, one of Vincenzo Grifo and Stephan El Shaarawy plus Cristiano Biraghi. I will not change everyone.”

Italy head into this match already qualified for next Summer’s finals with thanks to winning all seven of their group stage games so far and will be coming up against a Liechtenstein side bottom of the group, who have just two points to their name.

The match will take place at the Rheinpark Stadion in the Liechtenstein capital of Vaduz with kick-off scheduled for 20:45 CET.
