In today’s paper edition of Quotidiano Sportivo, former Inter player and now football pundit Fulvio Collovati has shared his views on the Nerazzurri’s season so far.

“Inter’s spirit has transformed. In years gone by, if they went 1-0 down against Juventus, they would not have fought back but instead in the most recent match they did. This is with thanks to the spirit of the manager,” he said.

“Something is still missing in the midfield but a new project has been born at Inter. Knowing Conte, Inter will probably sign a midfielder in January. Inter already have plenty technique in the midfield but they lack some physicality, maybe a player like Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could be the one they go for.”

He was also asked for his thoughts on Inter and AC Milan’s proposed new stadium, which will see San Siro demolished to make way for it.

“I honestly find it absurd to demolish San Siro and I have always thought that a city like Milan deserves two stadiums, not just one.”
