Inter could take advantage of their good relations with the Cagliari leadership to make an attempt to sign Nahitan Nandez in the future, a report from CalcioMercato.com suggests.

Nandez somewhat surprisingly became Cagliari’s club record transfer signing this past Summer as he joined for a sum of no less than €18 million from Argentine powerhouses Boca Juniors.

Since arriving at the Sardinian club, he has been an ever present feature in the side in Serie A, playing all 630 minutes of the Rossoblu’s league campaign so far, in which he has contributed three assists from central midfield.

Nandez has shown himself to be well rounded having made more ball recoveries and crosses and created more scoring chances for himself than any of his teammates in Rolando Maran’s squad.

Relations between Inter and Cagliari are particularly good at the moment due to deals conducted in the Summer that saw Nicolo Barella join Inter and Radja Nainggolan return to Cagliari.
