Nemanja Matic is the most feasible option for Inter to strengthen their midfield in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte’s first choices of Barcelona duo Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic but both are difficult to sign for differing reasons.

When it comes to Vidal, Barcelona simply do not wish to give up the Chilean midfielder, who made a real difference when he came on against Inter recently in the Champions League.

As for Rakitic, Inter face a lot of competition for his signature and Barcelona are wanting between €30-40 million for him.

Matic is however deemed easier to sign due to the fact Inter and Manchester United have good relations after the recent deals for Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez as well as the fact that the Serbian’s deal with the Premier League club is due to expire at the end of this season meaning Inter could acquire him on the cheap in January.
