As per a report from Spanish news outlet Marca, Inter are not among the clubs currently eyeing a move for Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic.

Reports in the Italian media recently have strongly linked the Nerazzurri with making a January transfer window swoop for the Croatian, who is out of favour at the reigning Spanish champions.

However, Marca state that Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus and Premier League club Manchester United are the two clubs to have currently shown an interest in signing him.

The 31-year-old has been limited to just six appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 186 minutes and is seriously considering a move away from the Blaugrana in the upcoming transfer window as a result of falling heavily down the pecking order at the club.

Former Sevilla playmaker Rakitic is keen to get regular play time so to ensure his place in the Croatia team for next Summer’s European Championships.
