In an interview with a show on Italian radio station TMW Radio, former Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma has shared his views on teams he think will be involved in this year’s title race in Serie A.
“Napoli has a little more experience and has grown mentally and this year they can annoy Juventus. I think that Inter have shown that they can fight too, but Juventus has a very large team, in addition to the winning mentality. The Bianconeri have many top level players,” the Argentine-born former Italian international explained.
Juventus currently lead the way at the top of the Serie A table with 19 points – six of which they earned through victories against both Inter and Napoli.
Inter find themselves just a point behind in second place having made a perfect start to the season aside from the loss to the Bianconeri.
Napoli are meanwhile down in fourth place sitting on 13 points.
