Inter will have to hold talks with FIGC, the Italian football federation, to decide the best course of action for Sebastiano Esposito according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Due to Alexis Sanchez’s injury, which looks set to keep him sidelined for a few months, Inter wish to stop Esposito going to the under 17 World Cup with Italy as they would find themselves very short on attacking options if he is to go.
Esposito is however one of Italy under 17s best talents and without him, their chances of winning the tournament, which will take place in Brazil, will reduce, something the FIGC are unlikely to be too happy with.
With the tournament taking place where it is, it makes it almost impossible for him to even spend his time between Inter and Italy duty and it now remains to be seen what will happen.
The report from the Roman newspaper goes on to state that Inter have no interest in signing free agents Wilfried Bony and Hatem Ben Arfa, who could provide cover.
