With Inter facing a packed fixture schedule in the coming weeks, manager Antonio Conte will be relying on everyone to make an impact and is expecting some rotational players to show more than they already have so far this season according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Roberto Gagliardini and Valentino Lazaro are two players in particular that former Italian national team boss Conte is wanting more from. Gagliardini has only shown flashes of what he can do whilst Lazaro has only played 41 minutes across all competitions this season.
Antonio Candreva and Alessandro Bastoni have both shown positive signs at this early stage but Conte wants more from them as well.
“It is up to them to prove to be important pawns for Antonio Conte, who will have to go and explore the depth of his squad,” the report explains.
“The coach had said before the international break: “We will find a way to use them all and they will have to give answers”. They are players who have quality and must now shown they are ready with more consistency.”
