Inter teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito has not been included in Italy under 17 manager Carmine Nunziata’s 21 man squad for the upcoming under 17 World Cup.

Esposito’s exclusion comes as a result of Inter needing to have him available to them after Alexis Sanchez underwent surgery on an ankle injury which will keep him out of action for a few months.

Whilst Esposito is forced to miss out, there are five Inter players to have made the cut for the tournament which will take place in Brazil between October 26 and November 17.

Lorenzo Moretti and Lorenzo Pirola are two of eight defenders in the squad, Riccardo Boscolo Chio and Gaetano Pio Oristanio are two of seven midfielders and Wilfried Gnonto is one of three strikers in the team.

Italy are in a group with Mexico, Paraguay and Solomon Islands and start their World Cup campaign on Monday night against Solomon Islands with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CET.
