Former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli has shared his thoughts on how competitive he thinks the race for the 2019/20 Serie A title will be.

“I  think Juventus is ahead of the other teams, but this year I think there are three teams in the race for the title and I think all three of them will fight for the title until the end,” he said in an interview with Rome based news outlet La Repubblica.

He proceeded to praise Inter for the progress that they have made under new manager Antonio Conte since his arrival at the club in the Summer and also spoke more on Juventus, who have reigned supreme in Italy for almost the past decade.

“In just a few months, Inter have taken on some important features and have a new mentality. Juventus have meanwhile confirmed that their players have a crazy hunger and they are improving too.”
