Inter defender Cristiano Biraghi has taken to social media to celebrate his performance in Italy’s 5-0 rout of minnows Liechtenstein as part of their EURO 2020 qualification campaign.
The 27-year-old full back, who returned to Inter from Fiorentina during the Summer transfer window, started just his second game of the qualification campaign but made an impact as he contributed to the Azzurri keeping a clean sheet and provided an assist for one of the handful of goals.
“The anthem, the assist, the victory. Very strong emotions. A fantastic group: this is Italy,” he posted as a caption to an image which he posted to Instagram of him in action during the game.
