Inter have three players that they plan to go in for in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

As per the Turin news outlet, Inter wish to strengthen both in the midfield and in the attack. For the midfield, Inter have identified Arturo Vidal and Nemanja Matic as players they wish to acquire whilst in attack Olivier Giroud appears the current favourite among many names.

All three players have previously worked with Inter manager Antonio Conte which is partly why the Nerazzurri are keen to bring them in as they know the players know Conte’s methods and have had previous success when playing under him.

When it comes to Vidal, Inter will have the tricky task of trying to convince Barcelona to part ways with the Chilean rather than Ivan Rakitic, who is not in the plans of Barca boss Ernesto Valverde.

As for Matic, he has found playing time particularly hard to come by this season and his contract with Manchester United is due to expire at the end of the season meaning Inter could make the most of their recent good relations with the Premier League side to acquire him cheaply.
