Inter will start new contract talks with teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito in the coming months according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Already under contract with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season, Inter wish to tie the Italian youth international down to a new five year contract, which will come with an improved salary to reflect the progress he has made in recent months.

Esposito was an unlikely shining light during pre-season as he got the chance to impress on several occasions due to Inter’s lack of strikers for much of their pre-season preparations.

He is widely regarded as one of the best prospects to come through at Inter in years and made his first team debut last season in the Champions League aged just 16. Although he is yet to appear in a competitive match at first team level this season, he has made the bench on plenty occasions.
