Matias Vecino could be sold in the upcoming January transfer window if a decent offer arrives for him according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are looking to strengthen the midfield department and as a result they will take any offers for midfielders, particularly those who have not played a lot this season, under consideration.
The Uruguayan has been limited to just 267 minutes across five appearances across all competitions and appears to have taken a real step backwards this season in terms of his performances.
Whilst Vecino’s future at the club would appear to be up in the air, Roberto Gagliardini, who has similarly struggled for game time looks set to be given another chance in this weekend’s match away to Sassuolo.
Gagliardini has also made five appearances across all competitions this season and has in fact played a minute less than Vecino has.
