Stefano Sensi is completely available for selection for Inter’s match this weekend against Sassuolo according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian international midfielder picked up a thigh injury during Inter’s 2-1 Derby D’Italia to arch nemesis Juventus prior to the international break but has managed to recover and took part in his first full training sessions with his Inter teammates yesterday in view of Sunday’s clash with his former employers.
It remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte will play the 24-year-old, who has been a real surprise story in Inter’s season so far, from the first whistle against the Neroverdi but the report from the Milan based news outlet does state that Sensi will be starting Inter’s Champions League group stage clash with Borussia Dortmund next midweek.
Sensi has appeared in all nine of Inter’s games to date across all competitions and in 625 minutes on the park, he has scored three and provided four assists.
