Inter are waiting for Flamengo to agree personal terms with Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa before accepting their offer to sign him according to a report in today’s paper edition of Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Mengao, where the 23-year-old has been on loan since January, are understood to have offered Inter between €15-16 million for the striker and as part of the deal they will give Inter a clause which will give them 20% of any future re-sale.

If this deal were to go through, it would make Gabigol the most expensive signing in Flamengo and Brazilian Serie A history.

As per other reports in the media, Inter are also holding off before accepting any offer from Flamengo in the hope that a few other clubs come in which could in turn lead to them earning more money for the former Santos man who they forked out €30 million for back in the Summer of 2016.
