Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are hopeful that none of Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, Joao Mario and Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa will return to the club according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

The quartet are all currently out on loan and if their respective loan clubs are to sign them all permanently then Inter will get about €130 million through their sales which will give Inter a decent transfer kitty.

Icardi was sent out on loan to PSG on transfer deadline day on a free loan with a €70 million option to buy attached. If Icardi performs as everyone knows he can do, it cannot be ruled out that they will take up the option to sign him especially as they could lose both Edinson Cavani and Neymar next Summer.

Perisic is currently with Bayern Munich, who can sign him permanently for €20 million. If they do, Inter will make a capital gain of €15 million.

As for Joao Mario, he is currently with Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow and is currently doing well. Inter have their fingers crossed they’ll take up their €18 million option to sign him.

Inter already have an agreement in principle with Flamengo for Gabigol but they are awaiting to see what offers arrive from Europe which could see them pocket more money. The latest club to make a move for him are Bundesliga side Schalke who have reportedly offered €25 million.
