Antonio Conte’s former assistant manager Massimo Carrera believes that Conte can keep Inter involved in the Serie A title race until the end of this season.

“Juventus always starts out to win the Scudetto, regardless of who there is to rival them. Antonio Conte or not, the Bianconeri always have the pressure of trying to conquer everything in Italy and in Europe,” he explained in an interview with Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

“However, you will see that Antonio Conte’s Inter will remain in the title race until the end of the season.”

Former Italian national team manager Conte has led Inter to six victories in the opening seven matches of the 2019/20 Serie A season with the Nerazzurri currently sat in second place in the table, one point off of Juventus – who were able to overtake Conte’s Inter by beating them 2-1 in the last match before the most recent international break.
