Inter striker Romelu Lukaku spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN in their post match coverage following the Nerazzurri’s 4-3 victory over Sassuolo today in the Serie A, where he scored two goals to help Inter gather three points.

“In the first half we did everything right, in the second half we should have scored in the first fifteen minutes. We didn’t defend well but the important thing was to win. I feel good, but I have to help the team even more. Today I’m happy for the win, the most important thing was to win.”

“The hug with Antonio Conte? I think that he and I are men who put the team first, when I score, I always look for my teammates to celebrate. I just think about working and giving my best.”

The former Manchester United striker’s two goals today bring his league total up to five, making him Inter’s top scorer. He joined the Nerazzurri from the Red Devils in the summer transfer window for a deal worth around €80 million.
