Journalist Sandro Sabatini has appeared to give off the impression that he thinks Inter were wrong to move Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi on during the Summer transfer window.

The club made it very clear early on in the window that none of the players were considered part of the project and all three players were subsequently loaned out to Cagliari, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain respectively, with Perisic and Icardi’s loan clubs both also receiving options to sign them permanently as part of the deals.

The players who could raise the level of Inter, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi, were all given away to other clubs,” Sabatini explained in an interview with radio station Radio Sportiva.

“Nainggolan, Icardi and Perisic left Inter because of changing room problems. I understand this, but I believe that everything must be proportionate to the costs and the expenses.”
