Speaking in an interview with German newspaper Kicker, Borussia Dortmund star Axel Witsel has spoken on what it would mean for him and his teammates if they are to go on to beat Inter tomorrow night.

“We knew that these would have been weeks with so many important matches one after the other and starting with a win was really important [against Borussia Monchengladbach],” he said.

“This success can give us the right boost for the the next matches. The match against my ‘brother’ Romelu Lukaku’s Inter will be crucial for our journey in the Champions League: winning in Milan, for us, would mean taking a decisive step.”

Dortmund head into the match with four points from their opening two group F fixtures with Barcelona and Slavia Prague and will be coming up against an Inter side who have picked up just one point from their two matches with Slavia Prague and Barcelona.
