In an interview with German newspaper Kicker, Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has discussed their upcoming Champions League group stage clash with Inter at San Siro.

“The two matches against Inter will be extremely important, it will probably decide which team will advance to the next round,” he started.

“Inter have developed strongly and invested a lot of money to once again be one of the top teams in Italy. We will need to put in a good performance if we want to be able to survive there.”

In conclusion he spoke on talisman Marco Reus, who will be missing the match against the Nerazzurri as a result of injury alongside striker Paco Alcacer and defender Marcel Schmelzer.

“He is still having problems. I think it is clear that he cannot play three games in a week but we hope that he will be back for the derby [with Schalke].”
