Marcelo Brozovic believes that Inter can get their first win of the Champions League group stage in tomorrow night’s match against Borussia Dortmund.
“The time has come to win also in the Champions League, tomorrow the match is like a final: let’s play in front of our fans, it is a perfect moment to start winning. The group is still open, there are 4 games still to play,” he said in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Asked what he thinks Inter need to be most wary of, he responded: “We must be careful about their ability on the counter attack.”
Next he reflected on Inter’s performance last time out in the Champions League against Barcelona.
“In the first half we created a few chances to score simple goals but when you do not manage to score more against Barcelona then something always happens because they are the best team in the world.”
He concluded by touching upon what went wrong against Sassuolo: “The first 70 minutes we were a great team but we can’t make the kind of mistakes that we did because against Borussia Dortmund they will make you pay for them.”
