In an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio, noted journalist Mario Sconcerti has voiced his opinion on Inter’s developing strike force of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.
“Lautaro Martinez seems to me to be ahead of Romelu Lukaku, he is becoming a complete player. Lukaku is very important though. Lautaro is small, technically good and vicious. Lukaku has a great physique but very little when it comes to technical ability but despite this he works for others on the field. Teams need to beware of them,” Sconcerti said.
The duo have played almost every game together this season and have managed to notch five goals each across the course of Inter’s 10 games across all competitions to date, with them both grabbing braces in Sunday’s 4-3 triumph away to Sassuolo.
As the weeks have went by it has been clear to see that the level of understanding between the two only continues to improve and their early success as a partnership is undoubtedly great news for Inter.
