Milan Mayor Sala: “I Have To Look More At The Work Of The Council Then The Superintendency For Inter & AC Milan’s New Stadium”

Milan city mayor Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Sala has confirmed the order in which he will look at the work conducted by the different authorities when it comes to Inter and AC Milan’s project for their new state-of-the-art stadium.

“Right now I have to look more at the work of the municipal council and then at the work of the superintendency. This week the board commissions should be completed. I hope that the City Council will finish its work early next week,” he said in an interview with the gathered media at a book launch event.

“Obviously, at that point, the ball will return to the superintendency and therefore we will have to perform our responsibilities, in parallel with the work of the superintendency.”

The two clubs presented their plans for the stadium which will replace their current San Siro stadium last month but developments in the time since have been slow.
