Inter will not be forced into selling any of their top players if the players they have sent out on loan continue to perform as they have according to a report from Milan based news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
Significant capital gains could be achieved by the Nerazzurri this coming Summer if the clubs where Inter players are out on loan take up their options to sign the players on a permanent basis.
Mauro Icardi joined French club Paris Saint Germain on transfer deadline day and with thanks to his five goals in six appearances, the Parisian’s are already thinking about the €70 million option they have on him. Should PSG take up the option, almost every penny of it would be a capital gain for the Nerazzurri.
Joao Mario is another who has started life off well at his loan club Lokomotiv Moscow, who, like PSG, are already thinking about the €18 million option they have, approximately half of which would be a capital gain for Inter.
The report also goes on to state that Flamengo are looking to sign Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa on a permanent basis. The Brazilian side do not have an option as part of their loan deal but have offered €22 million plus bonuses.
