According to a report in today’s paper edition of German sports newspaper Kicker, Inter are keen on making a move for Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 30-year-old’s contract with the reigning German champions is due to expire at the end of the season but he is understood to be unhappy with his current level of playing time, particularly in the Bundesliga where he has been limited to just three starts this season.

Inter are not alone in courting the 2014 World Cup champions however with BILD reporting that Manchester United are also weighing up a move for him.

The Premier League strugglers believe that Muller could help them out of the rut they find themselves in and help them kick on in the second half of the season.

This season Muller has made 12 appearances across all competitions for a total of 546 minutes, in which he has provided one goal and six assists.
