Cristiano Biraghi has taken to social media to celebrate his return to playing in the Champions League for Inter almost a decade on from his last appearance in the competition for the club.
The wing back came on as a substitute in the second half of Inter’s win over Borussia Dortmund to help Inter defender their 1-0 lead at the time of his entry.
This was the Italian’s third appearance for the club since returning from Fiorentina this past Summer.
“I could not have wished for a better evening to go back to wearing the Inter shirt in the Champions League almost 9 years later,” he posted to Instagram.
