There is a distance of €8 million between Flamengo’s offer and Inter’s demands for striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Flamengo are ready to offer the Nerazzurri €22 million to sign Gabigol on a permanent basis but Inter are demanding €30 million for the Brazilian, who recently received a national team recall.
Gabigol has been in excellent form since arriving at the Mengao back in January having netted 35 goals in 47 appearances for the club across all competitions, including 19 in the league.
Inter would be willing to settle for the €22 million offer but only if Flamengo give Inter a purchase option on teen sensation Reinier.
The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best players for someone born in 2002 and contact has already been established with his agents.
This would not be the first time that Flamengo and Inter completed a deal that saw an Inter player join Flamengo permanently and Inter get an option on a Flamengo player. As part of Vampeta’s sale 18 years ago, Inter secured an option on Adriano.
