Inter could sign both Arturo Vidal and Nemanja Matic in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri are long term admirers of Vidal and manager Antonio Conte in particular is a massive fan of the Chilean, who he worked with previously at Juventus.

The 32-year-old has recently voiced his disappointment at his lack of playing time at current employers Barcelona, with him having only played 209 minutes across eight appearances this season.

Vidal is Inter’s first option for the midfield whilst Matic is the second. Matic’s deal with Manchester United is due to expire at the end of the season and for this reason Inter could perhaps acquire him on the cheap.

The report goes on to state that if Inter wish to sign the pair of them to improve their midfield, a sale or two will have to be made with the names of Borja Valero and Matias Vecino mentioned.
