Agostino Esposito, the father of Inter starlet Sebastiano, has insisted that his son must remain grounded off the back of making his Champions League debut for Inter against Borussia Dortmund.
17-year-old striker Esposito came off the bench around the hour mark and replaced Inter club record transfer signing Romelu Lukaku.
The Italian youth international went on to have a positive impact and played without fear as he earned Inter a penalty, although Lautaro Martinez failed to convert it.
“I watched the match from home as I am able to better my emotions at home. He has stay with his feet planted on the ground, he still hasn’t done anything yet,” he said in an interview in today’s paper edition of La Repubblica.
“He must graduate from the profession, his mother keeps him grounded but he too must keep his head in order. We are people who earn their bread. I don’t like exaggerated cars or flashy things.”
