Inter intend to tie star prospect Sebastiano Esposito down to a new five year deal according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The 17-year-old sensation is one of the best prospects to come through the ranks at the Nerazzurri in a good few years and despite already being under contract to 2022, Inter wish to sign him to professional terms when he turns 18 in the Summer.
Several clubs showed an interest in taking him on loan during the Summer whilst some clubs, namely Cagliari and Roma, tried to get Esposito as part of deals where Inter were signing players from them. Inter however were absolutely adamant that Esposito was going nowhere.
Esposito made his first appearance of the season in the Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night. The Italian youth international, who was held back from going to the under 17 World Cup, made a positive impact and should see more action over the coming weeks.
